David Gallardo

David has been living in the Turks and Caicos Islands since 1999. He originally began working here as a scuba diving instructor and then went on to work as an underwater photographer on live-aboard diving boats. During this time, he captures images from around the TCI's main islands. He now works as a professional photographer for a local company photographing weddings, portraits and commercial assignments. David has since travelled around the world in order to fulfil his passion. He has photographed humpback whales and dolphins in the Silver Bank, D.R., the American crocodile in the Queen Gardens of Cuba, whale sharks and schooling hammerheads in the Galapagos Islands, great white and tiger sharks in South Africa, the amazing coral reefs of the Red Sea, tiny pigmy seahorses and the mimic octopus in Bali and manatees in Crystal River, Florida.
